YOGA ON THE RETREAT

lucyandrewsyoga_pose

Yoga and meditation will take place each morning before breakfast and in the afternoon. The yoga style is Hatha and accessible to different levels of practice.

Lucy will guide you through classes that warm up gently and develop in strength with a focus on alignment and movement of energy within the body. There is both fluidity of movement and holding postures to explore and build awareness, strength, and flexibility. Awareness of the breath is integrated throughout each practice.

Sessions will include meditation and pranayama to move beyond the mind’s busy mental and emotional dialogue into your inner essence of quiet aliveness.

All levels of your experience are catered for including beginners. Students are challenged according to their level of experience and variations are given to accommodate individual requirements. This will guide you to develop an intelligent and accessible practice. Whatever your level of yoga practice, consideration and care is given to each student.

Each yoga session will be approximately 2 hours

“Great teacher, wonderful classes. Lucy gives you individual attention with pinpoint accuracy to whatever you need. She is intuitive, clear and succinct.
Sequences flow seamlessly with creative variations. I particularly love the time she holds us in a posture, long enough to build strength yet without strain. And Lucy gives the best Yoga Nidras!”
